Wonderful 14th-century church with an extraordinary fresco cycle in the nuns' choir.
Today this church is a part of the Diocesan Museum. There are a lot of sacred arts master pieces. Another must see place at Naples. You have to buy a ticket to get in. Visitors are allowed to take non commercial photo without flash light.
My favorite church in Naples. It is Gothic built over Romanesque. Since the new church was built next to it, the church is not being used and is empty inside except for the many nice frescoes which still remain on the walls.

Enchanting to say the least. Being Neapolitan, I have already been there many times. Now I live in Trentino and during the holidays, I returned there with my partner, from Veneto. What can I say... an emotion every time.
Visited on the occasion of a fashion exhibition, it was surprising to be able to access the premises of this church. The Gothic style of the building is magnificent, always my favorite. They told me that it is not normally open to the public, or at least not all areas are accessible.
